Bill G. Turnbough, 83, of Topeka, Kansas, formerly of Pekin, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence which he shared with his sister. He was born on October 4, 1933 in Crawford County, Salem, Missouri to Otto Earl and Clara Turnbough.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1956. He then moved to Illinois in 1964. He married Doris Yeagle on June 6, 1964 in Pekin, Illlinois. She preceded him in death on September 15, 1989. He then moved to Arizona when he set up home with his companion, Grethel Jobe. She preceded him in death.

Surviving is a sister, Alberta Shipley of Topeka, Kansas; two step-daughters, Patty Clark of Pekin and Colleen Brees of Tucson, Arizona. He has several grandchildren.

Bill worked as a millwright for many years before retiring. He was a former member of the Empire Lodge#126 A.F. &A.M. of Pekin and the Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial gathering will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin.
