Billy Edmond Crocker, 80 of Pekin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Pekin Hospital.
Born December 17, 1936 in White Hall, Illinois to Jackson E. and Helen (Wolfarth) Crocker; he married Marylou Mitchell on November 17, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Steven (Tammy) Crocker of Jackson, Michigan, Dale M. Crocker of Pekin, and Karen M. (Leon) Blair of North Pekin; five grandchildren, Jayda and Arianna Crocker and Darryl, Nathan, and Jacob Blair; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Q. (Pat) Crocker and Bob Crocker; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Lacefield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and twin daughters, Betty Maxine and Mary Jane.
He was a 1954 graduate of Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana.
Billy was an eleven year veteran of the National Guard during the 1960's.
He retired as the Bowling Director of The Christian Center in Peoria and previously worked at the Hiram Walker Distillery and John P. Pearl Insurance.
Billy was a die-hard St Louis Cardinals Fan.
He was a faithful and dedicated member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Peoria; having served as an Elder and Superintendent for the church.
Funeral services will be at Noon Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Peoria with visitation two hours prior to the service. The Rev. Tim Mitchell and Rev. David Esche will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of Peace at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
