Billy G. Woltman, 81, of Dennison, Illinois, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Paris Healthcare Center. He was retired after thirty-five years as a route salesman for the former Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Paris. He was born February 2, 1932, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of the late Leo and Cora (Vandygriff) Woltman. He married Sara Miller on November 2, 1957, at Nevins Christian Church in Edgar County, Illinois, and she survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Pamela (Doug) Feltz of Brownsburg, Indiana, Cynthia (Bryan) Payne of Plainfield, Indiana, and Rebecca (Terry) Gates of Paris; a brother, Robert (Libby) Woltman of Paris; and six grandchildren, Joshua Payne of Plainfield, Madison Gates of Paris, Aaron Payne of Plainfield, Zachary Feltz of Brownsburg, Jacob Gates of Paris, and Caleb Gates of Paris. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Woltman. Mr. Woltman served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Paris Christian Church and was also active with Boy Scout Troop 180 for a number of years. He enjoyed gardening vegetables and fruit trees and took great pride in his children and their families. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Paris Christian Church. SERVICE INFORMATION Services celebrating his life were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris with the Reverend Tom Armour officiating. Burial followed in Edgar Cemetery. Casket bearers were Aaron Bishop, Doug Feltz, Terry Gates, Bryan Payne, David Switzer, and Herman Taylor. Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris.
