Bob Carper, was born March 26, 1956 in Antlers, OK, to Thurman Carper and Ora Mae (Allensworth) Carper. Bob and his twin brother Bill were the first set of twins to be born in the Pushmataha County Hospital at Antlers, OK. He married Tonya Gray on January 8, 1989 in Sobol, OK. Early in his life he farmed peanuts. He was also a rancher, logger and Real Estate agent. Bob, his wife Tonya and twin brother Bill founded the Big Buck Classic in 1989. With the help of their family and friends, they were able to make this into the great hunt we all know today. Years later, they expanded to incorporate new shareholders which became one big family. Everyone involved with the hunt, including hunters, have always had a special bond. Through the hunt, Bob became a farm and ranch realtor. Both of these turned into so much more than a job for Bob. He changed the way many people thought of a realtor by being honest and up front with everyone. First and foremost, he loved his family. He loved his wife Tonya, which he was hardly ever apart from. He loved his kids and grandkids which were his whole world. Bob enjoyed many family activities such as hunting, fishing and family dinners. Bob could not go a day without arguing with Bill, although Bill said Bob was never right. He touched so many people throughout his life and will be greatly missed. Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Tonya Carper of the home, a son, Josh Carper and husband Westley of Tulsa, OK; two daughters: Brittani Carper of Grant, OK and Brooke Carper of Hugo, OK; brothers and sisters: Doyle (Bud) Carper of Garvin, OK, twin brother, Bill Carper of Rattan, OK, Helen Tollett & husband Wayne of Paris, TX, Mildred Cody & husband Jim of Rattan, OK and Faye (Cantrell) Halcomb and husband Robert of Rattan, OK; grandchildren: Kolton White, Keadan Carper, Kennedi Carper, Kerrigan Bolding, Kanzys Carper and Kasen Whitley; five nieces and five nephews along with a host of family and friends.
