Bob Alan McCallister, age 69, of Adona, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017. He was born August 22, 1947, in Adona, Arkansas, a son of Albert McCallister and Mattie Young McCallister. He was a member of Perryville United Methodist Church. Coach Mac retired from Perryville School after 39 years of service. Bob was a compassionate, kind, family- orientated man, a loyal friend, and an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Garison McCallister; children, Leah (Roger) Raudman of Driggs, Idaho; Jason (Jeriann) McCallister of Adona; and Courtney (Andrew) McKendree of Perryville; sisters, Sylvia "Boots" Nelson of North Little Rock; Flora Mae "Curly" (Wendell) Leckbee of North Little Rock; and Peggy (Andrew) Foster of Conway; and grandchildren, Sydney McCallister, Logan McCallister, Lena Hokanson, Aidan McKendree, and Maddox McKendree.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, at Perryville United Methodist Church with Mr. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, at Perryville United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Perryville United Methodist Church or First Baptist Church of Perryville.
