B. Sue Pille, 86, of Hanna City, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Heddington Oaks in Peoria.

She was born on March 27, 1931 in Whitleyville, TN to Hall and Grace (Spivey) Smith.

She married Lowell Pille on July 24, 1951 in Glasford. He survives along with three children, Terry (Marylu) Pille of Minonk, and Marilyn (Greg) Strickfaden and Rosemary (Tom) Haynes both of Hanna City; five grandchildren, Erin Pille, Andrew (Katie) Pille, Jason (Kirsten) Krane, Jennifer (Derek) Cruit and Katrina (Chad) Morehouse; eight great grandchildren Reagan and Cole Pille, Ellis Krane, Reese and Grant Cruit, and Rhyne, Cianan and Wren Morehouse, one brother Gary (Mary Ann) Smith of Peoria; one sister Carolyn (Clifford) Gray of Noel, Missouri; sister-in-law Iva Smith of Elmwood, and brother-in-law Richard Edwards of Canton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Joyce Edwards, and one brother Hampton Smith.

Sue was a homemaker all her married life. She enjoyed farm life along side of her husband. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Glasford. She had been a Sunday School Teacher, served on the Lay Ministry Team, and held various positions for local, conference, and Synod Women of the Church. She enjoyed volunteering for Lutheran Social Services, Prison Ministries, and was a 4-H leader for several years. Her life was centered around her faith, family, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Glasford. Pastor Michael Jones will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday January 25, 2018 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel and for one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
