Bobby E. Whitworth, 85, entered into rest Sunday, December 24, 2017. He was born on September 20, 1932, the only child of Bob and Elsie Deaver Whitworth in Breckenridge, TX.

After graduation from Breckenridge High School, Bobby went on to graduate from Tarleton University. Bobby made a career of the Air Force specializing in Police and Security. While stationed at South Ruislip Air Force Base, in England, he met and married Ann Miles and had four children. They were married for 50 years. Following his retirement, he made a second career providing family services for the Trammell Crow Company. He often spoke highly and told stories about the entire Crow family: Trammell, Margaret, Harlan Trammell Jr., Howard, Stewart and Lucy. He retired from the Crow family after many decades to spend time with his wife and family.

He was a lifetime member of the VFW and served in many elected positions. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family and involvement with the VFW and his lifelong friendships that evolved from it. He was also a member of the First Christian Church.

Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lilian "Ann" Miles Whitworth, daughter Joanne Reece, and great- grandson Ethan Reece.

He is survived by daughter Sali Whitworth (Rick); sons Bobby Whitworth Jr. and Mark Whitworth (Rhonda); grandchildren Brent & Michael Rousey, Kortney Reece and Taylor & Ashlie Whitworth; and great-grandchildren Katelyn & Tyler Rousey, and his special friend, his dog "Hatch"
