Mr. Bobby Gean Lowman, 74, of Miller Bridge Rd. Connelly Springs, passed away Tuesday March 6 2012 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Mr. Lowman was born on April 20, 1937 in Burke County to the late Walter Harrison Lowman and Bessie Martin Lowman. He was a member of Warlick's Chapel United Methodist Church and was owner/operator of Lowman's Garage in Connelly Springs. He enjoyed working on cars, running the haulers and helping out his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janette Davis Lowman, five brothers, Kerm, Cleveland, Lewis, Grady and Edward Lowman and one sister, Thelma Lail.
Survivors include his children, Barbara Holman and husband James of Hudson, Patricia 'Pan' Parker of Connelly Springs, Janet Chester and husband Keith of Hudson, and Randy 'Chunk' Lowman and wife Carolyn of Connelly Springs, his brother, Walter Harrison 'H' Lowman and wife Sue of Connelly Springs and one sister, Margaret Lowman. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Curtis Holman and wife Amanda, Jessica Holman and J.B. Hatton, Jill Knox and husband Adam, Joshua Parker and wife Roseanna, , Cody Lowman and wife Teresa, Doug Chester and Justin Lowman, and his great-grandchildren, J.D. Holman, Kassidy Hatton, Madelyn Knox, Sam Knox, Luke Parker, Gwendolyn Chester, Jocilyn Chester and Evan Barnette.
