Bonnie left us to meet her Lord Jesus after a brief illness. She was 80 years old.

She was born in Kosse, Texas to Jesse and Edna Tucker on September 30th, 1936. She was the middle of three children. Bonnie spent her childhood as the daughter of an itinerant carpenter and lived throughout Texas, Arkansas, and Arizona.

As an adult she worked as a bank teller in Big Spring, Texas for many years and as a secretary for several oil and gas companies in Midland, Texas. Her talents as a bookkeeper were highly sought after. Her attention to detail with numbers was impeccable and her integrity and honesty with money was unimpeachable.

Bonnie's other talents included oil painting where, on one occasion, her entry at the Howard county fair won first place in the professional artist category. This was after she'd only entered it as an amateur entry. The judges were so impressed with this so called "amateur" that they awarded her the professional blue ribbon.

She also had a great singing voice and used it often.

She finally retired in 2009 after the birth of her most beloved granddaughter, Michaela. She agreed to help care for her, and as a result, got to chase her around most of the Western United States. She got to see Quincy, Washington for a year and finally Cheyenne, Wyoming, and most everything in between!

Bonnie is survived by her youngest son, Kristofer White and his wife Melissa and daughter Michaela, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; eldest son, Buddy Arrick and wife Debbie Arrick of Big Spring, Texas and daughter Joanie Brock of Wichita Falls, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation at Ellis Funeral Home on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Gary Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park North.
