Brenda was born on April 5, 1943 and passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019.

Brenda was a resident of North Haven, Connecticut at the time of passing.

After graduating from high school, she attended Jackson State College (now Jackson State University), in Jackson, Mississippi, where she earned her B.A. Degree in English Literature in 1965, reigned as Miss Jackson State University from 1964-1965, was selected as a participant of the Foreign Affairs Scholars Program in 1964, and chosen as the Campus Sweetheart from 1962-1963.
