Mr. "Bumper" Timmy Shawn Truesdale, 35, of Bayboro, NC, formerly of Morganton, passed away July 31, 2018.
Bumper was born March 20, 1983 in Burke County to Mrs. Teresa Yelton Truesdale and Mr. Timmy Tony Maurice Truesdale. Bumper will be remembered as a kind and loving individual who was spontaneous and full of life. He loved his family and enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was attending Pamlico Community College to become an electrician. He also attended Grifton Freewill Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Barbara Jean Yelton; cousin, Josh Stroupe, and Aunt, Karen Bowen.
Survivors include his mother and father, Teresa Yelton Truesdale and Timmy Tony Maurice Truesdale; fiancé, Carla Savage; children, Tayla Rain Truesdale, Emmitt Shine Truesdale, and Tyler Charles Phillips; sisters, Brandy Yelton, Abigail Cline, and Misty Truesdale; nieces and nephews, Mattie Deal, Cody Yelton, and Trysten Yelton. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and a host of other close friends and relatives.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, August 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Marvin Wiley officiating.
Interment will follow at Drexel Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
