Clarence Dorsey Bohlman passed away August 1, 2017 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was born on June 3, 1925 to Clarence (Doc) and Katherine Bohlman.

Dorsey grew up in Waterloo, Ia. He graduated 1943 from West High where he lettered in Cheerleading and Marching Band. After graduating he enlisted in The United States Air Force, serving two years and receiving The Good Conduct Award and the WW2 Victory metal. Dorsey married Norma Jean Michaelsen on June 8, 1952. January 21, 1965 they adopted baby Jill in West Des Moines,Ia.

In 1980 Dorsey moved the family to Grand Prairie, Texas . He worked a few jobs before joining Siggins, Heermann and White where he worked until he retired. He cherished his relationships with the guys at SHW. He loved working with them and was so proud to represent Weber Grills. Dorsey was Charismatic, VERY organized and always the life of the party. Norma and Dorsey had a large group of friends and they enjoyed traveling with them. Sundays were spent around the pool enjoying his grand kids and dinner on the grill.

After Norma passed Dorsey moved to Mountain Creek Retirement Center where he made wonderful friends and spent time watching The Rangers, Cowboys and of course HIS Iowa Hawkeyes. He was so loved and will be missed !!

Dorsey is preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean, his parents, brother Warren, and nephew Mike Faust.

Survivors include daughter Jill (Paul) , Grandkids Zachary and Katie, nephew Chris Bohlman his wife Joy and kids, Sister in law Frances Michaelsen, and numerous cousins, neice and nephews in law. Also his second family at SHW

The family would like to thank everyone at Mountain Creek for their love and support . Also Grace Hospice and Recare for the wonderful care they gave him in the last month
