Carl Brian Coulter, 74, passed away on December 31, 2017. He was born to Carl and Marjorie Coulter on August 17, 1943 in Winfield, Kansas. Growing up he had a true love of spending time on the family ranch, herding the cattle, fishing and hunting.

He served his country proudly during the VietNam War. First as a sheet metal instructor - teaching others how to repair battle damaged airplanes and helicopters. Later, he was stationed in VietNam where he repaired the planes and helicopters he had been teaching others to repair. He was discharged Honorably.

His proudest moments were the births of his two sons, Clint and Carl Jr., along with finding sobriety sobriety which he always stated was "truly a gift from God". He was sober over 27 years before his passing.

Carl loved teaching. He was willing to teach anyone anything that he knew. He actively sought a young man interested in learning his skills and to whom he could pass his knowledge.

He started his own business in 2000 and repaired everything from cooking vats for FritoLay to aircraft at American Eurocopter and an Army Jeep.

His hobbies were reenacting Civil War battles, building models, researching new topics of interest, and learning.

He married his wife Patricia Anne Spoor on June 17, 1995. It was a 25 year love affair.

Carl is preceded in death by his father, Carl J. Coulter; mother, Marjorie L. Coulter; niece Carrie Jo; brother, Craig; and step-son, Larry M. Brown.

Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia Coulter, sister Julie Lewis and husband; sons, Clint, Carl Jr., Shawn, Bryan, Grandchildren, Brigette, Broden, Priscilla, Lilith, Orchid, Dannielle and Madeleine.
