Caroline Joyce Reigle Williams, lovingly known as CJRW, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 in Plano, Texas at The Hospice at Silverado.

She was born in McAllen, Texas on Saturday, November 2, 1935 to Edward E. and Violet H. Reigle. She was raised and educated in Midland, Texas where she graduated from Midland High School in 1954. One of the highlights of her education was attending Westlake School for Girls in Westwood, California in 1952. After graduation, she attended and graduated from Oklahoma University in 1958. At OU she pledged, became a life member and benefactor for Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

While at OU she studied Music and Pre-Law before receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education.

Caroline met Evan Williams at Colorado University on June 21, 1955 and they married on August 10 1956. During their 61 years of marriage they lived in Austin, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Albuquerque, NM, and Dodge City, KS before settling in Denver, CO in 1963.

During her 53 years in Denver and Centennial, CO she was active in the YWCA, Denver Junior Symphony Guild, Walnut Hills Civic Association, Civic Center Optimist Club. She sang for 25 years in the HarMOMics Chorus. While in HarMOMics she sang throughout the Denver area to many senior citizen communitiies and other concerts. She volunteered for 20 years at the Denver Dumb Friends league where she was a pioneer in pet therapy. She also fostered 82 puppies before they were ready for adoption.

Caroline had a wonderful ability with horticulture. She was a rose devotee and worked with her homeowner's association to decorate with beautiful roses. She also worked on many other committees in her HOA's. Her homes always had beautiful roses.

Caroline was raised in and practiced Christian Science for 44 years.

She gave birth to Evan Bradford in Albuquerque in 1960 and Edward Alan in Dodge City in 1962. She is survived by her husband, Evan; her sons; two grandsons, Alex and Reid; and daughter-in-law, Linda Hine Williams. She was preceded in death by mother, Violet in 1979; father, Edward in 1989; and brother, Gordon in 2014.

Caroline left her beloved Colorado for health reasons and settled at The Villages at Mapleshade in Plano, Texas in April 2017.

Caroline would have liked to thank the people that helping in her passing at The Villages at Mapleshade, The Hospice at Silverado, and the Medical Center in Plano. The wonderful people that transported her to and from the Medical Center in Plano and the 911 people.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00am in Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Rd., Dallas, Texas 75252.
