Carroll Don Stroud, age 84, of Hattieville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. He was born October 16, 1933 in Robertstown, Arkansas, a son of Ellis Lee Stroud and Esther Ferguson Stroud. He was an Army Veteran, Ham radio operator, and a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Lorene DuVall Stroud of Hattieville; son, Raymond (Stacy) Stroud of Shady Grove; daughter, Gail (Ray) Robinson of Morrilton; brother, Dale (Shirley) Stroud of Robertstown; sister, Margie Smeltzer of Hot Springs; two grandsons, Trey Pratt of Conway and Daniel Stroud of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma; and two great granddaughters, Arlee and Anna.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at Harris Chapel with Bro. Dwight Scott and Bro. Johnny Hoffman officiating. Burial will be at Robertstown Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Robertstown Cemetery Fund, C/O of Dale Stroud, 1091 Hwy 124, Hattieville, AR 72063.
