Carson Lee Autry passed peacefully on the morning of October 21, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. During his seven short months here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved so deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on, as his heart valves were donated to, and received by, a baby in need.

Carson is the son of Taryn Perry of Kenly, NC and Matthew Autry of Fayetteville, NC. Carson was so full of life and smiles. He loved his snuggles with mama and daddy and spending time with his family. He enjoyed bubble baths, untying his Pop’s shoes, chasing his Papa in his walker, playing with his fur baby buddies and making his family laugh. He will be severely missed but loved and remembered forever by all.

Carson is survived by his mother, Taryn Perry of Kenly, NC; father, Matthew Autry of Fayetteville, NC; brother, Dylan Autry of Fayetteville, NC; maternal grandparents, Kathy Perry of Kenly, NC and Bobby Perry of Archer Lodge, NC; paternal grandparents, Lisa Autry of Fayetteville, NC and Lisa Stroud of Fremont, NC; great-grandparents, Charlie and Shelia Honeycutt of Archer Lodge, NC and Lottie Blackwell of Fayetteville, NC; great-great-grandmother, Mae Honeycutt of Knightdale, NC; aunts and uncles, Katy and Ronnie Flanagan of Goldsboro, NC, Kasey Dohm and Tyler Williams of Smithfield, NC, Bobby Perry and Niki May of Princeton, NC, Jennifer and Chris Pate of Greys Creek, NC, Wendy and Patrick Jones of Rockfish, NC, and Michael and Jessica Autry of Reigelwood, NC; and cousins, Bella, Trey and Brenna Flanagan, Ryan and Alyssa Jones, and Zack, Kaleb, Ayden, and Olivia Autry.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Autry and great-grandfather, Donald Blackwell.

Services for Carson will be held from 7-9pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at McLaurin Funeral Home – 12830 US-70 Business Highway West, Clayton, NC 27520 and will be officiated by Pastor James Murray of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in Kenly, NC. A graveside service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 2pm.
