Mr. Cecil Gene Dixon, age 78, of Eastanollee, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his home.

Born September 3, 1940, in Wilder, TN, he was a son of the late Ezra Cecil and Learlan Turner Dixon.

He was a member of Old Union Baptist Church and retired from Patterson Pump after 34 years of service. Mr. Dixon enjoyed camping, woodworking and spending time with his family. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Family members include his wife Carolyn Faye Jackson Dixon of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Barbara Dixon of Eastanollee and Rev. Wade and Joley Dixon of Danielsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Terry Sapp of Eastanollee and Sue and Scotty Sellers of Martin; a sister, Marie Naticchia of Ohio; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Gregory, Nikki, Gala, Megan, Lacie, Andrew, Madison, and Ethan; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Tucker, Gerald, Abbigall, Ava, Bentley, Peyton, Xander, Nea, Wyatt, Caroline, Emma, Peyton, Gavon, Caden, and Bryson.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Edward Dixon and Larry Dixon.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Old Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Pulliam and the Rev. Wade Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ethan Spencer, Gregory Martin, Damian Hughes, Andrew Dixon, Andrew Lowery, and Stacey Pulliam.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 9pm Friday, May 17, 2019.
