Charles Eugene "Gene" Kittler, 57, of Almyra died March 17, 2017 at his home.  He was born February 16, 1960 in DeWitt to Alfred Henry and Mary Ann Truitt Kittler.
He worked at Producers Rice Mill as a truck driver and in maintenance.
  He is survived by his wife Linda Ratcliff Kittler of Almyra; daughter Misty Russell and husband Todd of Marvell; mother Mary Ann Kagebein of Stuttgart; three sisters Connie Pratt (Randy) of Almyra, Edith Baugh (Waymon) of Stuttgart, and Patricia Calvert (Marion) of New Edinburg; three nieces Whitney Calliotte, Kristen Ellenburg, and Jennifer Aaron; one nephew Brandon Boston; several great nieces and nephews; and life long friend, Jeff Pearman of Texas.
  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stormy River Russell.
  Visitation will be Monday, March 20 from 5-7 p.m. at Essex Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. March 21 at Almyra Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
