Cheryl Lynn McDonald, 50, of Avoca, died Sunday May 20, 2018 after a yearlong battle with cancer.

She was born July 4, 1967 in St. Clair to Terry and the late Sharon Baker. She married Allan McDonald on July 20, 2002 in Ruby.

Cheryl was employed as a customs broker with DHL Global Forwarding. She enjoyed watching Tiger baseball, NASCAR, and the Minnesota Vikings. She also was a fan of the band Def Leppard and loved anything to do with Jeeps.

She is survived by her husband Allan; two daughters, Jaclyn and Kaitlyn Bauer; granddaughter, Madison Beckman; her father, Terry Baker; brother, Edward Baker (Erika); sister, Kathy (David) Kliemann; mother-in-law, Brenda McDonald; three sisters-in-law, Judy, Peggy and Patty; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Wednesday in Marysville Funeral Home with a time of sharing by family and friends to begin at 6:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Karmanos Cancer Institute.
