 Chester Miller Goudelock, 84, of St. Charles died March 16, 2017.  He was born July 17, 1932, in Cruger, Mississippi to Alvie and Edith McRay Goudelock.

    After graduation from Mississippi State University, Chester served in the United States Air Force for 4 years.  Following his service in the Air Force, he worked for the Forestry Department in Redding, California for 5 years.  When he left California, he started work for the Department of the Interior at Koxobee Refuge in Mississippi for 2 years.  After working in Mississippi, Chester came to St. Charles to work at the White River Refuge with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife continuing his work with the Department of the Interior.  He retired from the White River Refuge after working there for 31 years.  He was a member of St. Charles United Methodist Church.

  He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pollye Fraize Goudelock of St. Charles; two sons Dustin Goudelock (Raylyn) of St. Charles and Kelly Goudelock (Kesha) of New Edinburg, AR; three granddaughters Meg, Haley, and Reagan; one grandson Keegun; two brothers Mac and Al Goudelock both of Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews.

  Memorial services were Sunday, March 19 at St. Charles Methodist Church.  Memorials may be made to the St. Charles Cemetery, P.O.
