Christine M. Hirt Obituary

Christine M. Hirt age 79, of Uniopolis died 10:00 a.m., Sunday Dec. 29 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Feb. 5, 1934 in Piqua, Ohio to Stephen Alvin and Mable Peterson Snider, who preceded her in death. She married Thomas R. Hirt Jan. 28, 1956 and he survives in Uniopolis.
Mrs. Hirt was a homemaker and a life member of the Wapakoneta Noon Optimist and St. Joseph Catholic Parish, Wapakoneta.
Additional survivors include 3 sons: Thomas E. (Lura J.) Hirt of Lima, Larry C. (Nancy J.) Hirt of Wapakoneta and Russell W. Hirt of Uniopolis, a daughter Kathryn L. Koenig of Lima, 7 grandchildren: Dustin (Nikki) Koenig, Krista (Justin) Settlage, Sarah (Kevin) Ashba, Jennifer Hirt, Bronson Koenig, Douglas Hirt and Keegan Koenig, 5 great grandchildren: Nova and Nevin Koenig and Ozzy, Lanei and Kemper Settlage.
The family will have private graveside services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
