Chuck Heyworth of Glen Haven, CO died Thursday June 25, 2009 at the Estes Park Medical Center. He was 54 years old. Charles George Heyworth was born April 29, 1955 in Lower Merion, PA and grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ. His parents were Charles and Betty (Hinkle) Heyworth. He graduated from Cherry Hills High School in New Jersey and later received his Bachelor's degree in Nursing. He was a registered nurse and had worked in Seaside, OR, Craig, CO at the Crow Reservation in Harden, MT and in Mineral Wells, TX. He was most recently employed at the Estes Park Medical Center. Chuck grew up as a Baptist and loved Bible School. He enjoyed nature, hiking and camping especially in the American National Parks. He was very happy living in his cabin in Glen Haven the past year. As a child, he learned to enjoy Cowboy and Indian movies, documentaries and books about the Western United States. He was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Betty Ann Moffat and her husband Andrew of Lancaster, PA and her 4 children Charles, Courtney, Andrew & Shailar Maines. He is also survived by his faithful dog, Luke and a loving family at the Estes Park Medical Center. A graveside service will take place Tuesday July 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Estes Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 4:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Allnutt Estes Park Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to EPMCF to benefit the Angie Tucker Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 1302 Graves Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517.
