Cleo Langle was born August 30, 1932, the son of Grover D. and Eliza Jane (Mask) Langle at Salem, Arkansas and departed this life at the age of 84 years in Forney, Tx at 9:30 PM on April 18, 2017.



He was united in marriage on June 9, 1954 to Mary Alice (Whiteside) Langle. He is survived by his wife and sons: Cleo Ray Langle and wife Leisa of Scurry, Texas; Ronald Dean Langle and wife Brenda of Scurry, Texas; Robert Glenn Langle of Columbia Heights, Minnesota and daughters: Charlene Denise Butler and husband Bruce of Red Oak, Texas and Lori Ann Legg and husband David of Crandall, Texas. Twenty four grandchildren: Christina Higgins and husband Jonathan; James Ray Langle and wife Brandy; Heather Seay and husband Dean; Brooke Keith and husband Josh; Brittney Moran and husband David; Tiffany Carmody and husband John; Jeremy Mathis; Kristin Terpstra; Allyson Terpstra; Ronnie Lee Langle and wife Kelli; Jennifer Reese; Jamie Moore; Amber Jackson Langle; Ashley Norris and husband Ryan; Taylor Langle; Melissa Cavin and husband Austin; Dakota Frantum; Edgar Langle; Amy Langle; Aaron Butler and wife Kristin; Travis Butler and wife Kelli; Lonnie Langle and wife Ashlee; Belinda Bowman and husband Bobby; and Nicole Legg. Thirty three great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; a spiritually adopted daughter, Norma Lopez and a host of family and friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents Grover and Eliza Jane Langle; one daughter, Mary Elaine Langle; 5 brothers: Bernie, Fred, John, Clarence and Theodore Langle; 4 sisters: Nancy May Reagan, Aleta Todd, Audrey May Birch and Ila Pingleton.



Cleo served in the Korean War as a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy. He was a Master Electrician with the IBEW, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A faithful member of Kaufman County Christian Center and his love for the Lord was evident by his daily walk with Christ. He was bold in his faith and was always eager to share the Good News of Jesus with everyone. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards or dominoes. He will be greatly missed by all but the impact he had on the lives of many will live on forever.



Visitation for Cleo Langle will be held on Friday April 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home of Kaufman. Address is 305 N Jackson Street, Kaufman, Texas 75142.



Funeral Services will be held at Kaufman County Christian Center on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 3:00. Address is 200 4th Street, Kaufman, Tx 75142. Graveside service immediately following at Mt Olive Cemetery in Scurry, Tx.
