Coleman M. Stewart, 84, of Hot Springs, formerly of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in a local nursing home.

He was born January 9, 1924 in Malvern, Arkansas to Ben Stewart and Jessie Mae Burch Stewart. He was of the Baptist faith and a Army Veteran of WWII. He was self-employed as a painter.

He is survived by:

1 Sister:
Edith Otts of Tyler, Texas

Numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 son - Charles Marvin Stewart.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, September 19, 2008 at Damascus Cemetery in Malvern, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 am Friday, September 19, 2008 at Atkinson Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are: Diana O'Kurily, Frank McNeely, and the Staff of Garland Nursing Home & Hospice Home Care.

ARRANGEMENTS ARE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ATKINSON FUNERAL HOME OF MALVERN.
