Constance Sue Brown, also known to her family as Connie Brown and "Downtown Connie Brown", has passed away at the age of 75 on December 4, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She was born to Harold and Mary Lock on February 27, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio.

Connie has been beautiful all of her life inside and out, being a high school cheerleader, winning a Doris Day look alike contest, and doing modeling work. She was a strong individual being a mother of three outstanding and accomplished boys. Meanwhile, Connie became a very well known proficient interior designer in Houston and Austin, Texas and also in Washington, DC. She was employed by Sunnyland and Louis Shanks Fine Furnishings. Connie was an amazingly talented and gifted natural artist. "Downtown Connie Brown" could make you smile the second you met her! Her interests included tennis, bowling, painting, reading, walks, church, music, signing, choir, farkle and Bingo with the grandchildren with prizes like pencil eraser, note pads, stickers, bubbles or anything she likely found on sale and thought the grandkids and their parents would like.

Connie was extremely loving and a saint! She had a heart of gold. Most importantly, she cared more about others, than she did herself! Grandma, or "Grandmall" as we called her, because she loved to shop. Connie had funniest, silliest sense of humor that made her totally irresistible. Wal Mart was referred to as "Walnuts" and overalls were "over hauls".

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Richard Allen Brown, Sr of whom she married in 1960. Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Doug and wife Erica, Rick and wife, Heather and Steve and wife Britta; Grandchildren: Tristen Bon, Ashley Green, Blair Stine, Brittany Edmison, Faith Brown and Juliette Brown; Great-grandchildren: Connor Stine, Pierce Stine and Tucker Edmison; Siblings: Linda Lock and Bobbie Huffman.
