Constance A. "Connie" (Cyr) Greenway, age 89, of Fairhaven, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late James W. "Tom" Greenway.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Alfred and Eleanor (Manson) Cyr, she had resided in Fairhaven for the past 66 years.
Mrs. Greenway had worked as a waitress in several local restaurants and retired from an answering service agency.

A very devout Catholic, Connie was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fairhaven. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and excelled at cooking, soups being her specialty. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving family.

Her family includes a son, Thomas J. Greenway and his wife Michelle M. of Fairhaven; four sisters, Eleanor O'Henley of Baltimore, Jean Cyr and Sr. Eleanor Marie Cyr of Fairhaven and Rita Haskell of Buzzards Bay; two grandchildren, Ryan T. Greenway and his wife Joyelle of Fairhaven and Carey L. Hicks and her husband Richard of Plymouth; a sister-in-law, Eileen Cyr of Fairhaven; a brother-in-law, David Peeler of N. Carolina,a sister-in-law Polly Greenway of S. Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfred Cyr.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 9am from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 74 Spring St., Fairhaven.
