Cynthia Kay (Koepp) Pursley, 68, of Fort Worth, TX died November 24, 2017 after a hard-fought, year-long battle with metastatic Breast Cancer. Known as "Cindy" to friends and loved ones, she was born in Houston, the only daughter of Paul and Margaret (Miles) Koepp. Cindy was the middle-child and had an older and younger brother. Always the avid reader and studious pupil, she graduated a semester early in January of 1967 from Bellaire High School (Houston, TX). Later, she graduated with her B.B.A. degree from Lamar University of Beaumont, TX in 1971. Cindy also received additional education from The University of Houston in Purchasing Management.

In 1977, she married the love of her life, Gregory Dale Pursley. They have two children; Melissa and Jeffrey, born in 1981 and 1985, respectively. Cindy was blessed to gain a beautiful Daughter-in-law, Nicole, in 2011 and a wonderful Son-in-law, Nick, in 2016. However, Cindy's world revolved around her grandchildren, Ella (11yrs) and Everett (6 mo).

Cindy was employed by Sterling Computers in Houston when she met her husband, Greg. She moved on to work for Union Pacific Resources and relocated her family to Fort Worth in 1989 to follow her career as a Purchasing Advisor. Cindy remained employed by Union Pacific Resources until they were bought out by Anadarko Petroleum. Cindy opted to stay in Fort Worth and laterally transferred to Carter-Burgess Engineering where she stayed with the company when they merged with Jacobs Engineering Group. She was relieved to retire in December 2015 so that she may follow one of her passions in life, traveling the world. Cindy was fortunate enough to visit 15 different countries and 46 different states.

She leaves her beloved husband Greg; her daughter Melissa and her husband Nick Humphries of Fort Worth; and her son Jeffrey, his wife Nicole, granddaughter Ella and grandson Everett of North Richland Hills, TX . She also leaves an older brother, Dwight Koepp and his wife Kathy of Crossroads, TX. She is also survived by several nieces (Jennifer and Lauren) and nephews (Aaron, Charles and Robert). She was predeceased by her mother, father, younger brother (Malcolm), and in-laws Bill and Dolores Pursley.
