Daniel Alan "Dan" Bushroe, 62, of Ringwood, Illinois, formerly of Lake Zurich, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 14, 2017. Dan was born on January 27, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He attended Lake Zurich High School and then passionately fell in love with woodworking and ran a successful custom cabinetry business for many years. After selling his business, he continued his love of carpentry by working for local contractors. In his free time, he enjoyed hitting the open road with friends on his Harley Davidson motorcycle accompanied by his wife, Roni. Dan enjoyed the simple pleasures of life while spending time making lasting memories with his friends and family. In recent years, he enjoyed being a grandfather to his first grandson, Renner, and was eagerly awaiting his second grandchild's arrival in October. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered for his love of life. Dan is survived by his devoted wife, Veronica "Roni" (nee Rajkovac); his sons, Matthew (fiancée Samantha Bonk) and Jarret (Jamie); and his grandson, Renner. His mother-in-law, Carolyn Christensen; brother-in-law, Rori (Denise) Christensen; sister-in-law, Robin Christensen; his nephews, David (fiancée Brytnii James) Bushroe, Philip Bushroe, Jesse Christensen, and Michael Rajkovac; his nieces, Amanda Chatman, Melissa Chatman, Elizabeth Chatman, Emily Rajkovac, Ashley Rajkovac, and Anna Rajkovac also survive him. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Jane Bushroe (nee Manny); his father-in-law, Irvin Christensen; his brother, David; his beloved wife, Renell (nee Christensen); and daughter, Lynea Beth. A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at McHenry Moose Lodge, 3535 North Richmond Road, Johnsburg, IL 60051. Dan will be eternally laid to rest beside his first wife, Renell, at Lake Zurich Cemetery during a private ceremony on August 14, 2017.
