Daniel J. Dennis passed away on November 17, 2017 in Evansville, IN. He was born on March 24, 1956 in Evansville, IN to Elmer John Dennis and Ruth Reinga Dennis. He passed away at the Linda White Hospice Center at the age of 61.
Danny grew up in Darmstadt, Indiana and attended the Darmstadt Trinity Luther grade school in his early years. He attended Central High School and graduated in 1974. After finishing High school, he enrolled in the apprentice for Tool and Die and Mold maker. Danny was passionate about his work and strived to be the best he could be. He was a former Employee of S&S Machine in Boonville, Indiana.
Danny had many joys in his life that he loved to do and people he liked to spend his time with - He worked very hard to complete his machine shop at home and was very proud of his empire he built on his own. Danny had a little friend that he cherished and took everywhere with him (Chi Chi) his little Chihuahua dog. Danny was a very active person and loved people very much, always looking for the good in people and always willing to help others. After the death of Danny's father, little did people know that Danny took it upon himself to spread the word of GOD. Just as his father did on Sundays after church, Danny would visit the jails in the local Tristate with his good friend Marty and passing the Word to the inmates.
He is survived by his three brothers that he dearly cared for and respected. David Dennis, Roger (Patricia) Dennis and Richard (Mary) Dennis.
We, as a family, want to express our gratitude and special thanks to the Hospice VNA team for the love and support, The Linda White Hospice Center for their continued care and support, Visiting Nurse Plus and SWIRCA for providing him with the wonderful meals. And most important Marty and Troy for being a true friends up lifting Danny when he needed it the most. Special Thanks to Bobbi and Sharon with Hospice and Sandy with Visiting nurse plus and Pastor Temme for helping us through our journey.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00AM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Darmstadt, 1401 W.
