Daniel James Hearn
Born May 28, 1991 and entered into glory on January 13, 2018

Daniel was the third son of John and Marcy Hearn, all of which were born in May. Daniel was a surprise, being 11 years younger than his brother Paul and 14 years younger than his brother Jason. Although a surprise, he was a real joy and kept his parents feeling young. Daniel grew up in Ocoee and Winter Garden and attended Foundation Academy and Legacy High School before graduating from West Orange High School in 2009. Daniel attended Covenant College, Chattanooga State College and Valencia State College. He worked at Publix and was for the last several years the Steelers Marketing Coordinator for Pro Football Spot. Daniel had a firm faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved his family and football. Daniel was tender and compassionate and had a heart for people. He had a wonderful, inviting smile.

Daniel is survived by his mother and father, John & Marcy Hearn of Winter Garden, and two brothers, Jason Hearn (Traci) of Orlando and Paul Hearn (Angela, Makayla) of Minneola. Daniel is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Our hearts are breaking but our hope is great and firmly based on our faith in Christ and His work for us. We are looking forward to the resurrection and seeing Daniel again.

Daniel James Hearn

Many are asking about Daniel's death. Daniel died comfortably in his sleep on Saturday morning January 13, 2018 at the age of 26 after having what appears to be a seizure. He had his first unexpected seizure on December 1, 2017. He received medical treatment with no apparent after effects and was seeking follow-up treatment. The first seizure did impact his life and caused him to consider life more carefully. His faith in Christ was firm and demonstrated to us. Since his first seizure we had enjoyed Christmas with family and a trip to the mountains after Christmas. We watched movies and football. We had good conversations over the last two weeks and he was making plans for the next steps in his life. We watched the college football national championship game together and he commented after the game about Alabama's quarterback's profession of faith in Jesus Christ. His passing is sudden and painful but we have great hope in Christ our Savior. Information about a time to visit the family and a celebration of life can be found at
