David Amaro of Hamilton, 54, died October 4, 2017.

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2017 5-7 PM followed by a rosary beginning at 7 PM. Service will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Riley Funeral Home Chapel at 10 AM in Hamilton, TX.

He was born to Rita and Vicente Amaro on December 15, 1962. Living most of his childhood in Lubbock where he was born, he moved to Hamilton in 1978, where he later met his wife, Caroline Lopez and began their family and life together.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vicente Amaro.

Left to cherish David's memories is his wife and soul-mate and "BabyDoll", Caroline Amaro; three sons, John Smythe, Charles Smythe, and David (Digger) Amaro; two daughters, Victoria Amaro and Olivia Amaro; grandchildren Kevin Smythe and LuCinda Smythe.; as well as his siblings, Norma, Chris, Rita, Joe, and Paul; along with their children; and the many other members of his large, loving family.

David was the pillar of his family as well as the Bottlinger Grain Company and left an impression on everyone he met with his strength, kindness, laughter, dependability, wisdom, and humbleness. Words cannot describe his stature or the impact of this loss. A man of tender heart and generous spirit.
