David "D.J." DellaVolpe, Jr., 22, of the Augusta section of Frankford Township, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Morristown Medical Center due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Born in Hackensack, D.J. lived in Lyndhurst then moved to Jefferson Township, where he lived until moving to Augusta seven years ago. D.J. worked for Crothers Construction Company in Branchville, a job he adored. He was a motorcycle mechanic at Motorcycle Madness in Lafayette, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. D.J. loved motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATV's and snowmobiles. D.J. is survived by his parents, Diana and David DellaVolpe of Augusta; his brothers, Steven and Michael DellaVolpe, of Augusta; his grandparents, Joseph and Doris Kile, of Lynhurst and Florence DellaVolpe, of Florida; his uncles, Thomas Kile and wife, Annie, Vincent, Victor and Gary DellaVolpe; and his cousins, Janelle, Gina, Anthony and wife, Valentina, DellaVolpe; and other extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in Branchville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville, NJ.
