David Lynn Clover, age 53, of Hilltop Lakes, Texas, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He was born on June 15, 1964 in Tyler, Texas, to Harvey and Nell (Hartsfield) Clover. He was a 1982 graduate of Chapel Hill High School, where he was involved in sports and FFA. After attending high school, David served in the United States Airforce. He later became a loyal employee of Union Pacific Railroad, where he worked for 23 years. David was known for his happy nature and was always willing to help anyone that needed it. He loved life and lived each and every day to the fullest.

On December 18, 2004, he married the love of his life, Mary. Together, they loved to travel. David loved seeing his children, his grandchildren, playing golf with family and friends at Hilltop Lakes and spending time at the Elks Lodge in Bryan, where he volunteered around the state with other members.

David is survived by his wife of 13 years, Mary; seven children, Simon (Teresa) Hernandez, Denise (Jeremy) Smith, Margaret Ramirez (Robert Flores), Ashley (Sam) Shahan, Vincent Hernandez, Heather (Cody) Daniels and Zack (Todd) Clover; Lulu Clover (his special dog); special nephews that are more like sons, Morgan Clover and Aaron (Michelle) Clover; 14 grandchildren; mother, Nell; brother, Alan (Alice) Clover; sister, Lisa (Jim) Hinds; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends. David was preceded in death by his brother, Burt, and father, Harvey.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Chapel located at 1515 South College Avenue, Bryan, Texas.
