Generous and artistic are just a few of the many words used to describe David Lee Cooley, of Portland. David was born in Portland, Oregon and was raised with his sister Donna in Vancouver, Washington by Donald Cooley and Joyce McHorse Cooley. David attended Columbia River and Evergreen High School. He pursued modeling, martial arts, and photography. He also owned Neptune Video Store in Beaverton and installed home theatre equipment. David enjoyed photography, music, watching action movies and socializing with those close to him. He was the biggest fan of the Oakland Raiders and he admired Bruce Lee. David passed away, unexpectedly at the age of 60, in Portland. He is survived by his son, Christopher Cooley; and sister, Donna Cooley. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, December 15th at Mars Meadows 9620 N Whitaker Rd. Portland, OR 97217 from 1-4pm. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Portland. Visit www.finleysunsethills.com for additional information. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either Furry Friends, Second Chance Companions, or your local Humane Society in memory of David, as he loved cats and dogs.
