Della Louise McClellan, age 83, passed away on November 20, 2017 in Farmersville, Texas. She was born on November 15, 1934 in Emory, Texas to Para Lee Snell Champion Le Bouf and John Isaac Champion. Louise was raised in Dallas, Texas all of her life.

She married Marcell D. “Mac” McClellan and had one child. She was a nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital and then at Kensington Manor for many years.

In her spare time Louise enjoyed fishing, shopping, crafting, cooking, and on occasion a little bit of Casino gambling. But most of all she loved visiting with family and friends.

Her family will remember her as a loving woman who taught us all how to truly love and protect. She was the true definition of a Matriarch.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Mac; her brothers and sisters: Elmer Lee, Faynell, Charlie “Evins”, James Bussell, Mary Naomi, Levie, Junettia, Joe Allison, and her twin brother William “Preston” Champion.

Louise is survived by her brother Jimmy Lee Champion; daughter Nell Ann McBride and husband Danny McBride; grandchildren TJ, Clayton Wood, and Levi McBride of Wolfe City, Texas; son James Patterson Duncan of Dallas, Texas; son Eddie Brann, wife Marsha, and grandchildren Latricia, Tonya, and Desirae; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; step sons and step daughter from a previous marriage Linda Brann Dunlop, Jimmy Brann and Tommy Brann whom we all loved so very much; and her hairy children and grandchildren: cats Simon and Phoebe; Boston Terriers, Kid and Sabrina, and Chocolate Lab Libby, who all loved her very much and not just when she had a hot dog in hand.
