Derek Keith Weise, 26, of West Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born November 30, 1988 in Daviess Co., Ky. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a 2008 graduate of Beacon Central High School. He enjoyed getting on his computer, photography, and scuba diving. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Maurice Drury on December 23, 2012.

Derek is survived by his parents, Kris and Keith Weise of West Louisville, his sister, Brianne McCarty and husband Drew of Calhoun, his niece, Ava McCarty of Calhoun, his grandparents, Alice and William L. Weise of Owensboro and Dot Drury of West Louisville, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral mass will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, October 10 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and from 9:00-10:15 A. M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be 6:00 P. M. Friday at the funeral home.
