Dominic "Nick" J. Pizzichillo, Jr., 74, of Toms River, NJ, passed away after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday October 5, 2017, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Brunswick, Nick grew up in Keansburg, before moving to Toms River 39 years ago. Nick started out as a jockey then became a very successful jockey agent for 22 years and finished his career at Larsen Ford for 18 years. He was a natural athlete and was a lover of all sports. Nick enjoyed life and family but most of all, he enjoyed his grandchildren, who were the loves of his life. One of the highlights in Nick's life was going to watch his grandson Dominic's little league baseball games, where all of his teammates loved Dominic's Pop Pop. The other highlight was watching and coaching his granddaughter Danica while horseback riding.

Nick is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years Margaret (nee Valentine) Pizzichillo, his devoted daughter Nicole Rekus and her husband Gregory, his cherished grandchildren, Dominic and Danica, his daughter Virna LaHue and her husband Chris, and grandchildren Dalton and Dylan. He is also survived by his two sisters in law and two brothers in law, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.
