Donald was born on January 30, 1931 and passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.

Donald was a resident of Put In Bay, Ohio at the time of passing.

Dons early years and education were spent in Chile Panama Cambridge House in Peru and finally high school graduation from Buchtel in Akron OH. He graduated from Miami University in 1952.

He was an Ensign in the U. S. Navy and served 3 tours in 3 years during the war in Korea aboard a Destroyer.

Donald was married to Ruth.

A member of the N.R.O.T.C. Alumni Board of Directors and in 2002 received The Miami University Admiral Souers Award and in 2004 was inducted into the Ohio State Veterans Hall of Fame.A private family service will be held at the Oxford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Contributions may be made to the Veterans Tribute at Miami University Memorial at 925 E. Chestnut St. Oxford OH 45056.
