Dateline-Barrington, NH Donald J.LaVerdiere, 69, died March 15, 2012 in West Roxbury, MA. He was born in Waterville ME., October 20, 1942 at Sisters Hospital-Seton Unit Navy/Army Veteran, Associates Degree in Accounting. Worked 23 years for Northwood Hannaford. Loving & caring husband, devoted father, grandfather (Pepe) & great grandfather, a great friend. Predeceased By: Father Eugene A. LaVerdiere, Mother Antionette A. (Desmarais) LaVerdiere-Roberge, Step Father Antonio Roberge, Brothers Russell and James LaVerdiere. Grandson David Joseph LaVerdiere, and Step Son Michael Hensley. Survived By Wife Janet (Foster-Hensley) LaVerdiere, Brother Ronald S. LaVerdiere (Linda) Children: Anthony James LaVerdiere (Lorrie), Sherri Denise LaVerdiere (Steve), Michelle Renee LaVerdiere (Fiancé Ronnie), Sandra Hensley, Thomas Hensley, Diane Hensley (Fiancé Victor), Margaret Hensley. Grandchildren Erin and Justin Hensley, Jeremy James & Kelselyn Renee Cochran, Sandra LaVerdiere, Michaela Jo Bolduc and Renee Michelle LaVerdiere. Great Grandchildren Kevin & Vidalese. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews. loving sister-in-laws Carmeline & Barbara LaVerdiere, Daughter in-law Patricia Fitzpatrick and his best friend Shirley Hardwick. A time of visitation will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, NH. The memorial service will follow with military honors on Saturday, March 24 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Harmony Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth, NH at a later date.
