At age 79, of Albion NY, passed away on November 10, surround by family. He was born in Albion, NY on April 10, 1936 to the late Clyde and Ellen (Nee Canham) Draper. After serving his country in the Air Force in 1955, he settled down in Albion holding different jobs until T.J. Lipton's opened in 1977. There he worked in the monitor and mixing department. He then worked for Ralph's Service Station and Gordon Grimes Station in Albion. Donald raced go-carts and hunted for pheasants for recreation. He is survived by his wife Elise (Nee Nelson), siblings Marge Aldrich, Jeanette Sokol, Liz (Dick) Rogers, Mary Ellen Glomboski, Jim (Chun) Draper, Donna (Robin) Lake, and Bonnie (Jim) Bartleson, sister-in-law Pat Schneider, and brother-in-law David (Holly) Nelson. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Donald loved his animals and enjoyed his friends. He can now rest and be with Jehovah. There is no prior visitation, a burial will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at Transit Cemetery at 11:00am, friends invited, please assemble at the cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined donations may be made in Donald's name to Hospice of Orleans.
