Dorothy Clark Rowling, wife of the late David H. Rowling, died Monday September 30, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Mrs. Rowling was born September 4, 1920 in New Haven, a daughter of the late Frederick N. and Katherine Lanza Clark. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Rowling of East Haven, and Gail Reynolds, and her husband, William Wheeler, of Kitty Hawk, NC; her grandchildren, Dennis Reynolds and Alison Ruy; and her great-grandchildren, Alex and Emily Reynolds, and Zaron and Devin Ruy; her sister Audrey Ralph, and her nephew Gordon Ralph. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service Thursday morning at 11:00 in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
