Dorothy "Dot" Patterson Obituary

Dorothy Jean "Dot" Patterson, 75, of Kent, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at her home.

She was born May 26, 1936 in Elm Grove, WV to Sherman W. and Hazel M. Hunley. Dot was a member of Lake Brady United Methodist Church. She enjoyed making apple pies and having family gatherings. Dot will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Emilie) Patterson of Kent, Keith (Michelle) Patterson of Kent and James Patterson of Ravenna; grandchildren, Kayla, Andrea, Lindsey and Nicholas Patterson and Milena Stone; sister-in-law, Evelyn Patterson; brother, Buddy (Karen) Hunley; sister, Joyce Robinson; many nieces and nephews who all called her "Aunt Dot". She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Patterson; sisters, Jane, Sis and Louise.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday, November 18th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19th with Pastor Gary Glasscock officiating. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Park.
