Edgar R. Crissey ("Ed"), left this world and joined his Savior and loved ones, on December 4, 2017, in Dallas. Ed was born on October 13, 1923, in Harvard, Illinois. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1941.

Ed served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII as a radar technician and operator, first on anti-submarine patrol then with the 15th Air Force in North Africa and Italy. After the war, he continued to serve in the Army Reserves in the Counter Intelligence Corps until 1958. After his active duty military service, Ed attended Southern Methodist University and upon graduation in 1949, became a consultant for Fidelity Union Life Insurance Company in the corporate benefit and retirement plans branch. After retirement in 1976, Ed served in the Dallas County Sheriff's Reserve from 1984-2009. Ed faithfully served his Family, Country and Community.

Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sarah Elizabeth White Crissey; parents, Edgar W. Crissey and Clara Vick Crissey; brother, Kenneth L. Crissey.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Carol Ann Crissey Evans, her husband, Louis Evans, and their daughters, Melissa and Shannon; son-in-laws, Seth Pennington and Doug Seidel; great-grandchildren, Caden, Brinley and Avery; son, Paul White Crissey, and daughter, Brooke Ashley; nephews, Steven and Scott Crissey, Bruce and Alan White; nieces, Sharon Crissey and Susan Scales.

The Family wishes to thank John Saboleh and Brenda Golden, who tirelessly cared for Ed with great love, respect and devotion during his final years.

A Memorial Service will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Memorial Park on December 12, 2017, at 12:00 Noon.
