Services for Edna Earl (Harbuck) Keen, 96, of Corrigan, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Robert Langford officiating. Interment will follow in the Homer Cemetery in Jasper County, Texas.
Mrs. Keen was born December 26, 1919 in Alba, Texas, the daughter of the late Virgie (Jones) and Earl Lee Harbuck. She passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in The Woodlands.
Mrs. Keen was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Wakefield Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her son, Bob Keen of Corrigan; daughter and son-in-law, Laverne and Jimmy Renfro of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Earl and Dorothy Keen of Houston; daughter, Debbie Keen of New Braunfels; son and daughter-in-law, Ted Edward and Patricia Crowe Keen of Spring; grandchildren, Veronica (Keen) Sjolander, Bobby Keen, Jr., Jennifer Renfro Edwards, Jeannette Renfro Jacobs, Kristi Elaine Keen, Casey Earl Keen, Donna Sue (Keen) Daniels, Ronnie Ray Purvis, Brandie Michelle (Murphy) Luce, Morgan Edward Keen, Joshua Sean Keen, Amanda Michelle (Keen) Varley, and Zachary Austin Keen; 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Louise "Honey" Harbuck Ricks and Marie Harbuck Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Keen was preceded in death by her husband, Truitt Edward Keen; brother, Rayford Harbuck; sister, Jean Harbuck Smith Vaughn; and grandsons, Phillip Ray Keen and Dustin Ryan Keen.
Pallbearers will be Mason Pitts, Casey Keen, Jacob Varley, Cody Luce, Richard Luce, Morgan Edward Keen, Bobby Keen and Joshua Sean Keen.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
