Louise died February 25, 2017 at Jackson-Madison General Hospital. She was born August 1, 1937 in Alcorn Co. MS. To the late Earl and Lear Patrick. She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ. A 1955 graduate of Ramer High School as Salutatorian, she was a retired accountant, having worked for Pigeon Thomas Iron Works, Corinth Gas and Water, M.L. Sandy Lumber Co., HENCO, Dobbins and Brawner CPA, Dobbins and Mitchell, CPA., She attended the TN Walking Horse National Celebration for over 50 years. She enjoyed antiquing, crafts and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Gene A. McCarter; son Tim (Debbie) McCarter; daughters Sherry (Terry) Teague, Angie (Steve) Whitman; sisters Earlene (Glen) Crabb, Gloria (Wayne) Carroll; grandchildren Heather (Alex) Massengill, Zach McCarter, Lacey (Houston) Matthews, Amber (Thomas) McCarter, Amanda (Brad) Carlsen, Anna (Juan) Hurtado, Jaydin McCarter, Nicholas (Leah) Teague, Daniel (Mary Lauren) Teague, Kelsey (Jason) Black, Connor Black, Hayley Whitman, Stephanie Whitman, Brianna Whitman; great grandchildren Drake Massengill, Ady Massengill, Carlee McCarter, Benjamin Matthews, Thomas Matthews, Sienna Romero, Abri Romero, Madison Carlsen, Sawyer Carlsen, Cooper Teague, Hayes Teague, Anslee Black; brother-n-law's and sister-in-law's Sonny "G.B." (Louise) McCarter, Paul (Billie) McCarter, Ethelyne Gurley, Doris McCarter; special nephews Wendall McCarter; special friends Tom and Pam Pegoda, Buddy and Larue Smith of Huntsville, TX., Mark and Rowena Pope. Host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital

Family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Monday from 9:00 to service time.
