Elaine Janet (Fracalossi) Vought, 70, of Sinking Spring, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on Friday, September 15, 2017 in the Reading Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in Shamokin Hospital on September 29, 1946, she was the middle daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (Mauray) Fracalossi. Elaine was a 1964 Reading High School graduate. Following graduation, she entered Bryland School of Cosmetology and was licensed in 1965. She was a Beautician for 51 years. Her first establishment was Hair Styles by Elaine on Kutztown Rd. She then became the owner and operator of the Cut Hut on Rt. 61 in the 1980's. In 2016, she moved her business to Elizabeth Ave, Laureldale where she worked until her illness prevented her from doing so. Elaine was a die-hard worker. Her customers were family to her. She was patriotic and very generous with her love and her time.

She enjoyed traveling and photography. She was a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan! Her family, especially her grandchildren, were her greatest joy. She was a proud grandmother with a big heart.

Elaine married William A. Vought in Allentown on August 11, 1990. The couple shared 27 years of marriage.

Surviving is her husband, William A. Vought of Sinking Spring; two stepdaughters: Michele L. (Vought) Kostival and her husband, Donald R. and their children, Sean C. and Ava M. Kostival of Blandon and Jennifer E. (Vought) Johnson and her husband, Benjamin T. and their daughter, Olivia L. Johnson of San Diego, CA; two sisters: Carol G. (Fracalossi) Riedel, wife of the late Robert V. Riedel of Shillington and Jean M. (Fracalossi) Keltz, wife of Dr. F. Leo Keltz of Wyomissing.

Also surviving is a nephew: Francis L. Keltz, III and his wife, Virginia A. of Powell, OH; two nieces: Susan C. (Riedel) diBattista of Shillington and Colleen M. (Keltz) Miller of Shillington; a great nephew: Chad J. Miller of Shillington and two great nieces: Gabriella S. diBattista of Berkeley, CA and Emma S. Keltz of Powell, OH.

Services for Elaine will be at 12pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606 with Chaplain Michael Sullivan officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Thursday from 10am until the time of service. Elaine will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Berks Co., P.O. Box 6683, Wyomissing, PA 19610 in honor of Elaine's grandson, Sean C. Kostival.
