Elaine was born November 9, 1953 in Olney, IL to Elinore (Hohlbaugh) and Clarence Hawkins, Jr.
She met the love of her life, Wesley "Corky" Osmon, when she was just eleven years old and he was fourteen, at Pulleyville, IL along the Wabash River, and she wanted to spend every available moment with him. He would walk from Allendale to Bridgeport every weekend just so they could be together.
They were married in January of 1970 in Mt. Carmel, IL and enjoyed every day until his death in 1991.
Elaine worked almost 40 years at Champion Laboratories, most of that time was spent at the West Salem plant, before recently going to the Albion facility.
Her passion could be summed up in a word: "Family". She loved her two sons, and her grandchildren. It has been said: "Wherever you saw Elaine, you saw her grandkids."
She enjoyed spending time with them in the swimming pool, and any other activity they desired!
