Ella L. "Dutch" Hildreth, 77, of Iberia, died Wed., Aug. 1, 2012 at Galion Community Hospital after a short illness. Dutch was born April 18, 1935 in Rutland and was the daughter of the late John E. and Myrtle M. (Cremeans) Nelson. She was preceded in death on Aug. 23, 2008 by her husband, Carl R. "Tinker" Hildreth whom she married on July 24, 1954. She was a graduate of Bucyrus High School in 1953. Dutch was a member of the Open Arms Christian Church, Iberia and the Galion Women of the Moose Lodge 144. She worked for General Electric in Bucyrus and later at the former North Electric Company and PECO in Galion. She is survived by her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" and Cindy Hildreth of Galion and Roger Hildreth of Iberia and two grandchildren, Raygen and Colby Hildreth. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Hildreth and four sisters. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday Aug. 6, 2012 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 7 at Iberia Cemetery with Rev. Ben Pletcher officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the HomeCare Matters Hospice, P.O. Box 327, Galion, Ohio 44833 or to Open Arms Christian Church, P.O. Box 41, Iberia, Ohio 43325.
