Arrangements under the direction of Bayside Community Mortuary, Seaside, CA.
Erlinda Manzano Nobida entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, February 1, surrounded by her
family. She was born May 10,1943, daughter of Marceliano and Felisa Manzano.
Erlinda is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Arthur Nobida, son Arnold (Gina) Nobida, daughter
Amalia "Amy" (Leo Jr) Nobida Lagrimas, and her greatest pride, her grandchildren, Dylan, Nicholas,
Justin, Leo III, Lauren, Amiana, and Jeane, her brother, Manuel Manzano, her sister Naty Isidro and
many additional family and friends.
Erlinda was a faithful member of St Francis Xavier Church and Jesus of Nazareth. Many were touched
by her generosity and loving heart whether it was picking up her friends for church group, or sitting at
your bedside in prayer, she was a firm believer in God's love and healing and would be among the first
to lift you in prayer when you needed help or counsel. Selfless and humble, Erlinda embraced every
day as a gift from God and shared her love for life with all who knew her.
Erlinda enjoyed traveling, shopping, casinos and a game of mahjong with her friends but her passion in
life was spending time with her Family. Erlinda always made Family her first priority. You'd often see
her in the stands at her grandchildren's sports events and performances. There was no event or reason
too small for her to be there to show her support in all of her grandchildren's accomplishments.
The rock and source of strength to many, Erlinda will be cherished in remembrance for her beautiful
soul, generous heart and loving nature.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this
difficult time. Every prayer, every visit, every message sent with hope and words of kindness has been
a gift, and a testament to the many lives who were touched by our Mother's love. We feel so very
fortunate to have you in our lives and hope that you, like us, find peace in knowing that our Mother is
resting in the arms of Our Lord.
Friends may pay their respects, Saturday, 4th and Sunday 5th from 4 till 8:00pm; rosary is Sunday at 6:00pm all at Bayside Community Mortuary.
Mass of Christian Burial celebrated Monday, 6th, 10:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church, Seaside. Burial will follow at Mission Memorial Park.
