Erma Audine Doran, formerly of Abilene, Texas, died in Bryant, Arkansas Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was 90.
Audine was born August 22, 1926 to Perry and Lorrena Belle King Forrest in Abilene, Texas. She was the youngest of ten children. She lived most of her life in Abilene, Texas; moving to Benton, Arkansas in 1996. She attended business school and retired in 1990 as a bookkeeper for Gooch Meat Packing Plant when it closed.
Audine married Buck Doran on May 1, 1953 in Abilene, Texas. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ serving her family with a sweet spirit to the end with her illness of Alzheimer's disease.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Ammons and husband, Phillip of Benton; grandchildren, Leah Daley and husband, Chace of Tulsa, Spencer Ammons and wife, Cori of Benton, and Lyndsey Ammons of Benton; two great- grandchildren, Riggs and Fiona Kay Daley of Tulsa; a brother, Wayne Forrest and wife, Anneita of Hawley; a sister-in-law, Maurine Doran of Odessa; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; and siblings, Louis Forrest, Albert Forrest, Ila Mae McCollum, Ira Forrest, Otherene Forrest, Hazel Forrest, Vivian Muston, and Lester Forrest.
